Let’s help to fix your problem. At Mira, we’re in the pursuit of showering perfection. Whilst we go to great lengths to ensure that all of our products are tested and manufactured to the highest standards, we know that even the best quality products occasionally have a fault.
I have found this. Is this the cheapest I could get or can I buy a generic one or one that includes the rest of the bits? Would it just screw on or do i need any fancy plumber type stuff? Edited to add, my existing connector is round, this one is not, is that a problem? Egited again, do I need to buy Mira hose etc?
Popular examples are the Mira Jump 8.5kW and the Mira Sport 9.0kW, the latter of which is a best-selling range across the country. But what exactly can go wrong with electric showers? In this article, we explain some of the most common problems people encounter.
The most common faults with mixer showers are: Intermittently running hot and cold. From our experience, this occurs mostly on combination boiler setups. The usual suspects for this problem are a blocked shower head, kinked or damaged shower hose, or blocked inlet filters in the shower itself.
The shower is not that old but I am unable to give a precise date of installation as we actually moved in ourselves in January 2013. Having searched on this forum a little I realise a replacement shower head or hose is not going to solve the problem.
